Since the update KB5017328 on Windows 10 and 22H2 on Windows 11, some customers could have some issues to connect on the LogicalDesk servers farm.

Two workarounds exist:


Windows 10


Right click on the remote desktop icon and click on Edit


Check the box "Always ask for credentials" and click on "Save"



Windows 11


On the bottom of this page you can download the RDGCLientTransport.reg which will add the key in your registry.


Manual procedure

WARNING, do not edit your register if you are not used to it.


Open RegEdit

  • Create this key
    • Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client

    • DWORD (32bit)
    • Name: RDGCLientTransport
    • Value: 1


Reconnect your remote desktop session without restarting your computer.


For Windows 11, another key exists (fClientDisableUDP) but a reboot is needed.
